Biography

The human mind is such an interesting place and I want to comprehend it fully. The idea that no matter how disagreeable the actions of another might seem to you, they may be completely justifiable to the person pursuing that course of action is what piqued my interest in Psychology. It really just started out as trying to understand how and why people react and respond so differently from one another even when all are presented with the same situation. In learning all these things something that stood out was the power of empathy and kindness. I couldn’t help but ask myself about all the disagreeable things that I’d seen. What would empathy in those situations have led to? I’m inspired to help others when I see how unconditional positive regard and having a safe space to sift through your voice can help us bloom.

Therapy encourages us to look at everything including ourselves beyond face value and granted, looking so deeply inside of yourself can be scary for everyone, but there is a peace, healing and calmness that comes from self mastery which is coupled with the emancipation that comes from not having to deal with life’s stressors all by your lonesome. So be brave or scared or somewhere in between and choose the version of yourself that is tenacious about transforming into their best self because that’s what therapy does it brings out the best in us through healing.
